Nice hotel with well equipped spacious rooms. All staff friendly, calm and relaxed atmosphere. Would definately return.

lack of sunloungers at the pool

Good, stunning location very close to airport for transfers. Based close enough to the crocodile Park, beach and town and a posh restaurant at home.

Everything in general has been excellent, food, room, service.....and the animation has been very good for both adults and children.

Some of the staff at the desk were not very friendly.The rooms were not cleaned every day & we often had to ask for towels.there was an extra charge of 18 euro per week for a key & lock for the safe.The food was very greasy & hard to eat.I Would not rate this hotel as 4star,maybe 2 star at the most.The shuttle bus from the beach to the hotel often didnt turn up so we had to get taxis at the expense of 8 euros each way.

Reception was friendly. Wireless internet is available in the lobby near the reception and is free of charge.

Our opinion is don't stay in this hotel!!! Extra bed is uncomfortable and ugly. Bed was old and tattered. I have found someone's hair in the bed on the sheet! In the bathroom we found a lot of hair. Dirty!!! A lot of dust, and very dirty room!!! Accommodation was cheap; drinks for dinner is free, resulting in drunken people and the noise. Crowded! After we complained, was a maid to clean up our room, however, she only did slightly rewrite the bathroom and opened the windows. Bed linen is not changed. Of course we immediately changed the hotel and definitely we'll never return there. Rubbish! Awful!

I especially liked the setting. The areas around the hotel were well maintained and the trees-lovely. The bird song was great. I thought the pools were kept clean and well maintained, the surroundings of the larger one could be better...

Very noisy hotel. Cleaners open the door with people inside the room every morning even with no disturb sign hanging in the door. No internet in the rooms like advertised, only in the reception with very bad quality. Worst breakfast of my life made of tasteless food and badly prepared. Gym was closed my hole stay and swimming pools always crowded with drunk people. Staff very unfriendly and alway busy unwilling to help you... Very disappointing experience....

We stayed at the Roc El Pinar, while I was a little put off after reading trip advisers reviews we were completely happy and satisfied with our stay at the hotel for a number of reasons. 1) Our room was cleaned everyday and the maids...  

The junior suite was spacious and clean, and we loved the all-inclusive setup with food and drinks available all day. The staff were super polite, and the kids mini club plus evening...  

the thing that I liked was that every night there was a good show and the rooms are very clean.

The apartments are very old and ugly. They need a very good refurbishment. They cannot be classified as 4 star. They are only worth one star. The thing that annoyed me most was that the air condition switches off at 10pm!!! We complained about that and the next day they retaind the air condition on for the night.

Stayed for 10 days at Roc el Pinar. We did read the comments about the hotel after booking. And some of the comments made us think, what kind of hotel this is. It seems, one should not judge everything on comments you...  

Unexpected delights in a busy space

Waking up to the cheerful sounds of the entertainment team. The spacious room offered comfort, and the pool activities kept us entertained without a dull moment.

The food quality was disappointing with several undercooked dishes and long lines at meal times. It was annoying to fight for sunbeds and find limited seating for evening entertainment.

Few facilities which were mentioned at the time of booking were missing. For example, Oven in kitchen, hair dryer, particularly air conditioning was poor. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable.
